New AT&T Phones – HTC Hero has a 3.2-inch display, a 5.0 megapixel camera , WiFi 802.11b/g, 3.5mm headphone jack, Adobe Flash support, Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz processor, 512 ROM / 288 RAM. I prefer to buy my phones without a contract. Unfortunately if you buy the HTC Hero unlocked from Europe….it won’t work on T-Mobile’s or any Carrier’s 3G Network for that matter. for one the only 2 carriers it can possibly be unlocked on is AT&T and T-Mobile since they’re GSM carriers.

It will be available in select AT&T stores or at www.wireless.att.com beginning June 28 for $79.99 after mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement for wireless voice plans of $39.99 a month or higher and a $20 a month data or messaging plan. I think this phone will actually sell pretty well once it drops in price.

I can say although it’s a LOT like the 3G, the iPhone 3G S is better.

Pros: Camera is nice. Video is VERY nice. Clear as hell and responsive. The compass works in google maps. There is zero lag time when scrolling web pages no matter how fast.

Cons: Glass still smudged plenty. Phone was responsive as hell though, you can feel a difference in the performance.
