The new AT&T Samsung Galaxy Appea is a great phone for those on a budget or those would normally use a feature phone. Plus it doesn’t hurt Samsung, in the marketshare drive either.
It looks like AT&T prepaid plans cost just as much as contract plans. When I went to look at their GoPhones it says you need to add a data plan onto the unlimited plan. So I guess that’s another $30/month. I don’t know why all the new phones are steering away from keyboards… hmmm I prefer a spacious qwerty keyboard..

The dark back with the flag is pretty boss. I’m not in the UK and I want one. Still no ICS love in the UK. Six months after initially proposed. . Shocking that this hasn’t been highlighted more. Samsung have released an excellent phone but have turned it into a lame duck by not updating sooner. BTW, My Friend has ICS on my international Samsung Galaxy Note. Can’t say it made a massive difference to be honest.

The new AT&T Samsung Focus 2 has a faster processor and LTE, for the average person this is a great deal. I will not hesitate recommending this to non tech savvy people. I can’t think of any other phone that is going to be this smooth and reliable for $49.

The AT&T Samsung Focus 2 features include a 4-inch, WVGA 480 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 5-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA camera, AT&T’s fast 4G LTE network, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and Windows Phone 7.5 OS. Nice phone. Strongly recommended from all of my Windows Phone friends.

The new Samsung Galaxy S III could be a big draw for T- Mobile to be the only US carrier to offer the SGIII with the quad core processor. Quad core Exynos supports HSPA+ at 21mbps. It doesn’t support 42mbps nor LTE (US). My roomate has this phone for testing, it’s pretty nice and I am pretty impressed with it overall.

The Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S III is now available for pre-order price $779.99 on Amazon. Price of importing a unit from overseas is almost always higher than stateside pricing. $780 is outrageous for an unlocked phone. I can wait to see what version of the SIII carriers will offer in the near future. I like the Galaxy S III, but I won’t be throwing that kind of money around for it.
T-Mobile UK Samsung Galaxy S III Pebble Blue 16GB pre-order Now (Order now for delivery after 30 May). Hopefully T-Mobile US does what it always has and changes the design of the phone.
