At least a military grade phone still has a target market and not just a nostalgia factor. When they bought Sanyo’s mobile phone business, they got Sanyo’s designs for military grade phones. The new Sprint Kyocera DuraPlus cell phone will have a LED flash that has its own dedicated power button, 1,650mAh battery for 9.5 hours of talk time (with optional 2,300mAh extended battery available), Group Connect, TeamDC, NextMail, Guaranteed Talk Permit and One-Touch Direct Connect.
It’s certified to "Military Standard 810G," for its resistance to dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, humidity and it’s able to withstand water depths of one meter for, erm, up to half an hour.

I for one am glad that sprint will get this nexus also. It sure is a nice device, Sprint’s (lightsquared) LTE will be blazingly faster than Verizon’s LTE and will have better penetration of buildings. Sprint announced 22 markets will get lte in 2012. I really hope they are published by the release date of this phone or else I’m holding out.

The New Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first 4G LTE phone. Glad to see this! Sprint needs some loving and this plus their new LTE network may very well be what they seriously need. Let’s hope their LTE network gets decent speeds, unlike their 3G network! Sprint has great coverage. CDMA kinda sucks, but this is an LTE phone, so it makes up for that.

Their isn’t an LTE network ready yet on Sprint, so telling you a release date which will likely release in June when they flip on LTE is kinda anti climatic! Just saying.

The new Sprint LG Viper is a decent eco-friendly mid-range phone, it looks nothing like a Nexus, with the exception of it being rectangular, having rounded corners, and the typical Android capacitive buttons adorning its chin. If anything, it looks like a refreshed, but not-as-good-looking Optimus / G2x.
