The Verizon HTC Incredible cell phone is almost here, VZW Customer Service rep told me today that the release date is April 25, the incredible within the next 3 weeks. The HTC Incredible is a high-end Android 2.1 phone. Good news! was expecting it to come out sometime in april. gonna wait about a month after it comes out.

The Sprint Nexus one cell phone sold through Google’s web store, Sprint customers can all thank me for this news. I think this is so funny. Google puts their Nexus One on all the four major networks in 3 months and Apple still hasn’t done it in nearly 3 years. I love that the same phone is on all major carriers in the US. I’m anxious to hear a release date.

Now AT&T customers won’t have to settle for that pathetically neutered Motorola Backflip and can get a real Android device. The AT&T Nexus One phone isn’t cheaper but, you also are not bound by a contract for 2 years when you buy an unlocked device. And if you wanna trade up later, an unlocked device is very easy to sell.

The Google Nexus One for Verizon will only be sold on the Google Website, Not in Verizon stores. That is how the Google sales model works. Neowin said FCC’d Nexus One CDMA device is launching on Verizon’s network March 23rd, hope they offer a 1 year contract. If it’s like T-Mobile and it’s only full price or 2 year contract, I will have to wait for the Incredible.
