The Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 was all set and ready, usually, Blackberry has a very loyal following. So yeah, I thought I really liked the BB OS but I think I just liked it because its the best that Verizon had. Now they have Android coming and next year WebOS so options are opening. The Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 is what the storm 1 should have been. They’ve fixed hardware and OS flaws and called it a new phone. No camera upgrade, no Cpu upgrade, but they want me to spend $200 again.

The Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 will be available online October 21st. The Storm 2 features MiFi capabilities for sharing 3G internet over WiFi. That isn’t for broadcasting Wi-Fi, they’re just going to be advertising that you can connect it to your Mi-Fi device for simultaneous voice/data. That’s all. But the Verizon is still not saying anything about this.

I was really interested in the BlackBerry Storm 2. I am definitely interested to see how it shakes out. The Storm 2 is the second generation BlackBerry with a touch-sensitive screen, successor of the highly-anticipated Storm. The BlackBerry Storm 2 also adds WiFi, I believe OS 5 adds the ability to store apps on an SD card. Been using a Storm a friend lent me with the new OS 5.0 for a couple weeks now and I have to say I love it and the screen is so beautiful that I can deal with it.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 will be the best one out there, I’m glad it doesn’t have the fake chrome edges like storm1. I really do hope the Storm 2 is that much better than the first one, the OS isn’t perfect, I want my Storm 2 fix.
