Nokia Surge for AT&T

Posted on August 30th, 2009

The Nokia Surge cell phone is very slim and nice looking. The Nokia Surge has great features and the camera it’s a great feature. If you are looking for a typical phone for your texting talking and nothing special this phone is perfect. Camera and Video quality are ok. Call quality is great, and the speak is great too. I’ve never had a Nokia Phone and the OS is pretty cool. No complaints about it. The display to me is just fine but my buddy has a Samsung Behold and says the Beholds is much better. You can customize the phone quite a bit, you can also over bluetooth sync pretty much everything with your computer.

Nokia 6760 Slide – New Nokia Cell Phones

Posted on July 21st, 2009

The Nokia 6760 Slide cell phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera as opposed to the paltry 2 megapixel shooter in AT&T Nokia Surge. The Qwerty keyboard is my favorite feature, Large number to dial, QWERTY keyboard on the horizontal position is easy to type. The Nokia 6760 slide will be available during the third quarter of 2009 for EUR 199 before subsidies and taxes.

Nokia Surge – New Nokia Cell Phone

Posted on July 13th, 2009

The Nokia Surge smartphone is a Symbian S60 handset and a Low Price. The Nokia Surge is good to see more S60 phones stateside from carriers, though this one looks a bit odd. If they were able to knock it down to $50 with a contract, I could see them selling quite a few of these.

Nokia Surge Specifications:

- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
- Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (3.6Mbps)
- a full QWERTY keyboard
- a 2.4-inch QVGA display
- 2.0 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom
- AT&T Navigator
- HTML browser with Flash support
- Bluetooth
- 2.5m headset jack

Nokia Surge Review

Posted on July 13th, 2009

The Nokia Surge cell phone looks fine. Definitely different from the bunch of iPhone inspired designs out there with a silver trim and all. I think this is a good step forward for Nokia in US. The screen is small because they were probably trying to keep it at a certain price point. The form factor, eh, it’s different, different is good, but I’m not a fan of slide out keyboards.

The Nokia Surge cell phone offers a powerful browser to view full HTML or watch YouTube videos with Flash support, but which Flash is it, Flash Lite or full Flash? There’s a difference, and Flash Lite which a number of phones have, is pretty much used for video.
