The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness cell phone has a translucent screen, that no other phone has, is just SE. It’s not LCD-based. If it were, it’d be black-on-clear, not white-on-clear. How can that display be so incredibly expensive to produce? I thought all you would need to do is to take out the backlight on a regular LCD and replace it with a hole through the back of the device. Isn’t that what’s happening with the Pureness? Or is there something else going on with that screen?

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness seems simple and easy to use. The Xperia Pureness has a see-through display, i must say it looks like a pretty nice small phone without considering the price, i really like the buttons, and the layout. Cool design, but it does not run Android. It is hard to use in sunlight. It is very expensive.
