The Verizon BlackBerry Curve 3G cell phone price $29.99 on contract after a $100 rebate, this is not exciting but I know Verizon is all about options for everyone so I guess this is good news to some people. Not bad for $29, but price isn’t where they get you anyways, it’s the data plan requirements. You’ll be spending gobs of money on the data service for smart phones, which is where the carriers highest profit margins are. That someone would be willing to spend $30-$45/month on a data plan, yet unwilling to pay more for a nicer, newer device is beyond me.
