Verizon HP Pre 2 release date February 17, 2011
If you are on Verizon Wireless carrier and are looking forward to HP’s latest webOS 2.0 powered smartphone, now listen up. Pre-orders of HP Pre 2 have been available in Verizon and the device is set to land store shelves starting from February 17th. As for the price, it will cost you $100 under a contract, meanwhile if you cherish your freedom, you can pick the unlocked price tag of $450.
As previous said, HP has newly announced the HP Pre 3, which is an attractive candy bar phone combining a touchwiz screen and a QWERTY physical keyboard. But nice as it is, the phone won’t be available until this summer, those who want to have a taste about the HP’s latest webOS operating system can take the Pre 2 into consideration thanks to its reasonable low price and earlier availability.
Well, when talking about the HP Pre 2′s features, it has a speedy 1GHz processor, a 3.1-inch touchwiz screen, a similar slide-out full keyboard like Pre 3, a 5MP camera with LED flash and video capture and WiFi as well, which seems enough for a mid-level smartphone.
