The phone is a pile of trash. My g/f has been stuck with hers for months and it’s constantly locking up. Now it just hangs up the phone whenever it connects.

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. I have been through hell with it. Randomly redials people, dies all the time. battery life is down to 3 hrs max. it takes a shit every 3-4 hours and have to restart. its like windows blue screens every few hours. I watch in agony as my boss tries to call me and I cannot answer cuae the phone freezes. Run fast and far from this peice of fuking shit

This thing is a total piece of SHIT!!!!! Not only is the screen to small to have a touch screen only setup, it locks up all the time and the latest update from HTC wiped out all my contacts. It also reset the phone to factory settings and so far I can’t sync it with my desk top to retrieve my contacts and calendar from my outlook. Go back to Palm or Blackberry (both reputable brands) if you made the mistake of purchasing this thing and stay with them if you haven’t.

The Eris suck ass, whoever developed this piece of shit needs to have their asses kicked. It unlocks constantly and the screen gets touched and then all of a sudden your contacts are wiped out, you’ve made a phone call you didn’t know you were making, it’s activated some app that drains your battery in 30 mins or something else.
The phone is pathetic, the screen is too sensitive and all you have to do is drop a feather on it and it activates. The screen keyboard and phone pads are pathetic and as of 3 months into it I still have not gotten use to the sweet spots of each character. Web browsing is slow, most useful apps like the NCAA on demand for the BB tournament are geared for the I-phone. This piece of shit is relegated to the market app store which has no kind of good media player. One more thing the e-mail attachments are hard to get will not open 9 out of 10 times even after purchasing the Documents to Go software. All in all a pathetic piece of junk, I am going back to my Blackberry which kicks the Eris’s ass blindfolded. Verizon and HTC collectively suck ass. Can’t wait for the up and coming companies with potential like Boost and Cricket to bring these bully giants down to their knees with practical pricing plans. As a matter of fact if you are a typical user that is in your home town 99.9% of the time and don’t need coverage in BumBang Egypt and you are with Verizon, ATT or Sprint you probably need your head examined when Boost is offering unlimited Web, Text and calling for 50 bucks a month.
Piss on Verizon and piss on HTC and it’s Eris Android piece of shit phone. Don’t get one, get the iphone if you have to have a touch smart phone.
