The Verizon Kin ONEm cell phone is a relatively cheap, small phone, with a modern OS and wireless. The Kin TWOm is not smartphone. These would be very good phones if they ran Windows phone 7. They do not require any data packages for the newer models. If you compare them to other phones that do not require data packages, they are actually quite good.
The Verizon Kin ONEm has a 5.0 megapixel camera, Touch Screen, QWERTY Keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth. The Kin TWOm has a 8.0 megapixel camera. It is impossible to look at this as a low cost alternative…the $9.99 data plan is 100% designed to have a teen go over EVERY month. The $9.99 data package is grandfathered to where it’s only available for phones previously considered 3G Multimedia phones.
