The Verizon LG Revolution cell phone will announce the voice calling service on LTE network on the coming MWC, which is going to be well demonstrated on the LG Revolution. According to what the executive director Brian Higgins said, consumers who’re interested in the VoLTE tech will be offered an opportunity to see how it works on the MWC. However, this technology won’t be available until next year, so stay tuned.

Dating back to the CES, LG Revolution was officially announced by Verizon a month ago. This is a powerful and attractive smartphone in terms of LTE network capability rather than HSPA+ 4G network. Other than that, Android 2.2 operating system, the large 4.3-inch touchwiz screen and 5MP camera with front facing video calling function seem nice for a smartphone. Now that the VoLTE tech is to be applied into the device, such a move can somewhat help Verizon fend off data-hungry consumers with new Apple’s iPhones.
