The Verizon LG Vortex cell phone is only that’s 1/2 the pixels of the cheaper LG Optimus S and Optimus T. It’s funny. I was thinking that so many smartphones are released month-to-month with little variation between specs and software.

The Verizon LG Vortex will have a 3.2-inch 240 X 320 touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording, Wi-Fi, 3G, mobile hotspot capability, Bluetooth 2.1, Swype, Android 2.2 Froyo, Bing Search and Bing Maps preinstalled, and microSD card slot.  The LG Vortex will be $79.99 after a $100 mail-in ( Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access. Email and Web for Smartphone plans start at $15 monthly access for 150 MB).
