The Verizon Microsoft KIN Two cell phone has an 8MP camera and HD capability. is it a smartphone? There are several internal discussions on how to define a smartphone and most people defined it by the following: Does is have a qwerty keyboard, Can it do email, Can it download apps, Does it have an OS you can license. The KIN Two meets all of the criteria, so in hindsight it is a smartphone. Nice feature phones, but smartphone pricing will kill this. $50 plan that included voice and unlimited data would’ve been perfect.
