The Verizon Motorola Citrus cell phone like a child’s toy,  but I like that android is trickling into lower end affordable phones. I’d like to see even more choices on Verizon Wireless. If the Citrus was offered without the  $15/month data plan…it’d make sense. Not everybody has to have the latest and greatest phone.

The Verizon Motorola Citrus cell phone has a 3.0-inch QVGA display, 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, 3 megapixel digital camera, EV-DO Rev. 0, SWYPE keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Plus, the CITRUS phone housing is made from 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. The Citrus is now on sale for  $49.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. Motorola CITRUS customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide plan (beginning at $39.99 monthly access) and a Data Package (beginning at $15 monthly access for 150 MB).
