The new Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus (aka Google Nexus Prime) look great. A 4.65" screen without all that bezel will be more or less comparable to the size of 4.3" phones right now. Nexus devices usually are carrier exclusive from the get go, then they slowly branch out to other carriers. It makes sense that Verizon gets this one first, we haven’t had a single Nexus device. I’m sure it will hit every other carrier a month or two after Verizon under a different name.

The Nexus Prime should not be compared to the Galaxy SII, it should be compared to the Nexus S. Then nearly all the specs are a big jump:

Screen: 4" SAMOLED WVGA –> 4.65" SAMOLED 720p
CPU: 1 Ghz single –> 1.2 Ghz dual
RAM: 512 MB –> 1024 MB
Internal storage: 16 GB –> 32 GB
HSDPA/WiMax –> LTE
Gingerbread –> ICS

Interesting to note they went with a 5mp camera rather than the standard 8MP cameras in most Androids
